Fatehgarh Sahib: In the Amloh city, there has been an allegation of cutting off a person’s hand with a kirpan in a public gathering of students. Nihang attacked with such force that the entire hand of the person was separated. The family members have admitted the injured to Amloh Civil Hospital. On the other hand, the police have started investigating it. The police have registered a case of attempted murder against Nihang Gurwinder Singh who attacked.
Baljit Singh, a resident of Chahila village in Amloh, said that his son had come to the market with his friend. He received a call from his son that he was surrounded by some youths. Those who have sharp weapons, he told his son to hide inside the shop, as soon as he reached the spot along with his brother Manveer Singh, the father of a child, Gurwinder Singh, who is a resident of village Khanian, came there. As soon as he came, he took out his kirpan and attacked his arm. A pistol was also lying in the car of the attacker, according to Manveer Singh, brother of the injured, there was a fight between the school children. Because of this, his nephew was surrounded and beaten, when he came and saved his nephew, Nihang came and attacked his brother Baljit Singh. Amloh DSP Jagjit Singh said that the police had reached the spot on receiving the information. About 20 days ago, there was a fight between these children. These children were students of 10th and 11th in different schools. Earlier, the dispute was settled by both the parties sitting at home. In the same rivalry, Raj Baba’s son and his companions surrounded Baljit’s son and beat him up in the market. After which the family members of the children came and the quarrel increased.
Nihang surrendered at the police station.
Gurwinder Singh’s wife said that her son was surrounded, when she got a call at home, her husband reached the spot. There were 10 to 15 people, the turban of a baptized child was taken off. An attempt was made to attack her husband, for her own safety she took out a kirpan, after the incident her husband himself surrendered.
