The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has raided 30 places in Punjab. It is being told that this raid has been done after India-Canada dispute and threats from Khalistan supporters.

Two teams of NIA reached Rampura and Morr Mandi in Bathinda on Wednesday morning at around 6 am. The team is searching the house of Gurpreet Singh alias Guri in village Jethuke. Guri is an accused wanted by the Bathinda police in several cases including murder. The team has reached Harry More’s house. Harry is also named in several cases.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has pasted a property seizure notice on the Punjab house of terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijhar, who was killed in Canada a few days ago. Nijhar’s home is in Bharsinghpura (Phillaur) village of Jalandhar. Which has been locked for the last one and a half years. The NIA team reached here on Saturday.

The notice pasted on Nijhar’s house has been issued by a special CBI-cum-NIA court in Mohali. The notice states that the NIA has filed a petition to seize the immovable property of Hardeep Singh Nijhar. In this case, relatives and close friends can present their side in the special NIA court of Mohali on October 11.

Earlier, NIA has also seized properties of Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu in Punjab and Chandigarh. Pannu heads the banned outfit Sikhs for Justice (SFJ). He continues to speak against India in Canada and other countries. In the recent Canada-India dispute, he also threatened Hindus living in Canada.

The NIA has seized 46 kanals of Pannu’s property in Khankot village of Amritsar. Khankot is Pannu’s native village. This is arable land. Pannu’s house is in Sector 15C, Chandigarh. He was previously attached in 2020. Now NIA has caught them. Legally Pannu no longer owns these properties. This property now belongs to the government.
