A terrible road accident has happened in Tarn Taran. In this accident, 2 people have died. According to the information received, this accident took place near Singhpura cantonment of BSF. In this accident, a newly married couple riding a bike died on the spot, while one person is said to be seriously injured in this accident.
The deceased have been identified as Arshpreet Singh and Kajal, who are said to belong to village-level clans under Jhabal police station.
Giving information in this regard, Hardev Singh Singh, father of deceased Arshdeep Singh, said that Arshdeep Singh and Kajal had been married for 4 months and had come to Bhikkhiwind today to take medicine.
Both were going back with the medicine, when the BSF of Singhpura. An accident took place near the cantonment, due to which his son Arshdeep Singh and Arshdeep's wife Kajal died on the spot after being hit by an unknown vehicle.
Apart from this, another person who was riding his motorcycle in this accident is also being said to be seriously injured. He was admitted to a private hospital in Bhikhipind with the help of passers-by.
On the spot, ASI Gurmeet Singh of police station Sursingh said that the bodies of the deceased have been taken into possession and appropriate action is being taken based on the statements of the family.
