Haryana Excise policy: The new excise policy of Haryana was approved in the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday. Under this, the rates of desi and English liquor will increase by about 5 percent. Low content beer and wine will be reduced by around 10%. The number of liquor contracts will be reduced from 2500 to 2400.

Installation of CCTV in liquor shops and warehouses will be mandatory. Liquor buyer will have to give a receipt from the POS machine. Failure to do so will result in a penalty. 10 thousand rupees per mistake after 10 mistakes and 20 thousand rupees per mistake after 20 mistakes. There will be a penalty.

After this the contract can also be cancelled. Contracts will not be opened near the sacred area of ​​Shri Mata Mansa Devi Temple and any Gurukul in Panchkula. Earlier this arrangement was only for Kanya Gurukul. Courts will not open in villages. Sale of liquor in plastic bottles will be banned from February 29, 2024.

It will be sold in a glass bottle. Its purpose is to prevent smuggling. Advertisements promoting liquor on any platform by the wholesale licensee shall be strictly prohibited. According to Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, the excise revenue is Rs 10,000 crore. The goal is to go up.

Gaur Brahmin Vidya Pracharani Sabha has been approved to lease 15 acres of municipal land at Paharwar in Rohtak for 33 years. The institute is running a degree college, a B.Ed college and a school at Rohtak. This land will be used for expansion of existing educational institutions.

An agreement will be made between Rohtak Municipal Corporation and Gaur Brahmin Vidya Pracharani Sabha. In 2008, the land was leased to the organization for 33 years. Now after 14 years this land has been leased for 33 years till 2056. The construction time has been given for 5 years. This period can be extended for another 5 years. The land was earlier in 3 pieces. Now it has made a total of 15 acres. The Cabinet has approved the creation of 6 new sub-divisions.

These include Manesar in Gurgaon, Nilokheri in Karnal, Israna in Panipat, Chchhrauli in Yamunanagar, Nangal Chaudhary in Mahindergarh and Julana in Jind. Along with this, the Chief Minister had announced to make Bhiwani’s Bawanikhera and Rohtak’s Kalanur as subdivisions.

Now State Audit Directorate will be formed. The Finance Department will have administrative control over it. It will conduct internal audit of departments, boards, corporations, co-operative societies, universities, authorities, institutions, bodies. This will include all budgets. Apart from the Audit General, this directorate will also monitor the budgetary expenditure.

Supervisory fees of wineries have been reduced.
