Covid 19 Positive Case in Punjab-Haryana Update: Corona cases have started increasing once again in many states of the country. Let us tell you that along with the change in the weather, the number of corona cases has also started increasing. In such a situation, the Center has given instructions to the states to be careful. Along with this, corona positive cases have also started increasing in Punjab and Haryana.
Corona update in Punjab
The number of corona patients is continuously increasing in Punjab. With the confirmation of 73 new cases on Tuesday, the number of patients in the state has reached 396. Of these, 11 patients have been kept on oxygen support while two patients have been given critical care level-3 facility. However, there is no news of death of any patient in the last 24 hours. In the latest cases of Corona in the state, 217 patients have died since April 1, 2022.
According to the data released by the health department on Tuesday, 2235 of the 2533 samples taken during the last 24 hours were tested, in which 73 patients were found to be corona infected. Of these, the highest number of 22 new cases have been reported in Mohali, where 198 samples were tested. Along with this, the infection rate of corona in Mohali district has also reached the highest at 11.11 percent.
In other districts, 14 new patients were confirmed in Jalandhar, while 11 new patients were found in Ludhiana. In terms of infection rate, Ludhiana (10.09 percent) is at the third place after Mohali. 5 new patients each have been confirmed in Bathinda and Muktsar. Along with this, 3 new patients have been confirmed in Amritsar, 2 each in Hoshiarpur, Moga and Patiala and 1 in Nawanshahr.
Corona update in Haryana
Along with this, if we talk about the neighboring state of Haryana, the situation here is also not special. In the last 24 hours, the number of new infections has reached 193. Now the total number of active corona patients in the state has increased to 840. With this, the infection rate has reached 5.13 percent. Gurugram and Faridabad are becoming the main centers of infection in NCR. Apart from this, other cases are also coming to light in Panchkula. A 50-year-old corona victim died in Yamunanagar on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, 193 new corona infected were found in 11 districts of the state. 140 of them are from Gurugram and Faridabad alone. However, during this time, 114 patients returned home after defeating Corona, due to which the recovery rate remained stable at 98.91 percent and death rate at 1.01 percent.
