In fact Navjot Sidhu was sentenced to one year imprisonment by the Supreme Court on May 19, 2022. In this regard, he had to stay in jail till May 18.
Let us tell you that according to the jail rules, prisoners are given four days leave in a month, but Navjot Sidhu did not take a single day leave during this time. In terms of this, their sentence will be completed 48 days earlier by the end of March and they can come out of jail on April 1.
