A major accident has occurred in Bathinda due to the fall of a temple lantern. The lantern of the newly built temple of Sri Salasar Balaji near Sri Panchmukhi Balaji Temple located in Lal Singh Basti of Bathinda fell late on Sunday evening. Following this, four migrant workers working inside the temple were buried under the debris of the lantern.
After receiving the information of this incident, the teams of the social service organization Sahara Janseva reached the spot with an ambulance and with the help of the local people, the people buried under the debris were taken out and admitted to the emergency ward of the Civil Hospital for treatment.
