The country’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will reach the city today to dedicate the Indian Air Force Heritage Center prepared in Chandigarh to the common people. Due to this, the traffic route from Airport Light Point to Press Light Point-17 and Sector-8 Gurdwara Sahib will be diverted today.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will arrive at the Chandigarh Technical Airport at 10:45 am in a special army aircraft. Then at 11:45 am, he will inaugurate the Indian Air Force Heritage Center built in Sector-18 at Sector-17/18 Press Light Point and dedicate it to the general public.
After this, the Defense Minister will visit the Air Force Family Welfare Association shop. The Heritage Center will be handed over to Secretary Culture, Chandigarh by Air Force officials at 12 noon. Meanwhile, Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Banwari Lal Purohit will also be present. Then at 12:20 PM, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will hold a meeting with Chandigarh administration officials.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will visit the entire center after inaugurating the Air Force Heritage Centre. But common people will be able to enter here from Tuesday itself. However, to come here, booking through mobile app will start from today (Monday). Along with the Defense Minister, several VVIPs of the Air Force will also be present.
