Bureau report : A painful case has come to light in Ferozepur. A mother is murdered in a petty dispute. In fact, to take revenge for the dispute in the neighborhood, a person entered the house with a sharp weapon and asked the mother about her son. The mother said that she was in the ablution room, then the person from the village went forward to kill her, but the mother blocked his way, then the accused Balwinder Singh attacked the mother with a sharp weapon. The case is of Basti Khalilwali of Ferozepur district.
Jagdish Singh, husband of the deceased woman, said that his wife Pritam Kaur and son Manjit Singh were present in the house. The son was in the bathroom, the accused Balwinder Singh entered with a sharp weapon and asked the wife where the son Manjit Singh was, she said that he had gone to take a bath.
Balwinder went towards the bathroom to kill him, when Pritam Kaur tried to stop him, the accused attacked Pritam Kaur with a sharp weapon. Pritam Kaur fainted and fell on the ground. She was first admitted to a local hospital, but due to critical condition, she was referred to Faridkot Medical College. He died on the way.
