In the Youth Akali Dal, no recommendation will be required to elect a block or district president. Akali Dal president Sukhbir Badal has started an online drive to connect the youth. Along with this, it has been announced that 50 percent tickets will be given to the youth in the upcoming Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council and Panchayat elections.
Addressing the Youth Akali Dal rally in Ludhiana, Sukhbir Badal said that in the list of constituency in-charges of the Akali Dal this year, there are about 37 youths who played the role of district in-charges in the Youth Akali Dal. Along with this, from now on, no person above 35 years of age can apply for the district president of Youth Akali Dal.
Sukhbir Badal said that the entire process for the selection of the Youth Akali Dal team has been started online. The software will not accept anyone above 35 years of age. Along with this, it has been announced that no recommendation will be required for taking the post of District Head, Circle Head or any other post.

Become a member of Youth Akali Dal by December 31
Sukhbir Badal has set some conditions for those who get positions in Youth Akali Dal. Above all is the age requirement. It has been announced that the online portal for membership will continue till December 31. Along with this, 250 youths joining the Youth Akali Dal will be selected as delegates.
Apart from this the District President can be the one who will nominate 2000 delegates. This process has been rolled out to memberships worldwide. Youth can also join Akali Dal abroad in Europe, Canada, USA and Australia.
