Mann and Kejriwal laid the foundation stone of Guru Ravidas Bani Adhyayan Kendra at Ballan

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann along with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal laid the foundation stone of Guru Ravidas Bani Adhyayan Kendra at Ballan on Saturday and handed over the first installment of Rs 25 crore to Sant Niranjan Das Ji to start the work.

Chief Minister and Arvind Kejriwal paid obeisance at Dera Sachkhand Ballan and took blessings from Dera Sachkhand Ballan Chief Sant Niranjan Das Ji. Bhagwant Mann hoped that this educational center would prove to be a milestone for extensive research and study of the teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji. He said that this center will also help in spreading the teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji, the leader of the Bhakti movement, in every corner of the world.

The Chief Minister said that he is blessed that he got the opportunity to visit this holy place where great religious leaders have touched their feet. He said that this land has always given the message of world peace, brotherhood and communal harmony. Bhagwant Mann said that Babasaheb Dr. BR Following the path shown by Ambedkar, the state government is giving top priority to education, health, employment and other sectors.

The Chief Minister said that his government has already taken initiatives in these areas. He said that the state has already started a new era in the fields of education and health. Bhagwant Mann said that this pro-poor initiative will go a long way in changing the lives of common people.
The Chief Minister said that he does not believe in killing big people, but does what is good for the society. He said that there is no dearth of funds for this prestigious project. He said that money has already been transferred to the Deputy Commissioner’s account to start work on this project. Bhagwant Mann said that earlier big claims were made for the welfare of the poor but no one did the work in the real sense.

The Chief Minister said that the poor have been neglected by those who claim to be their leaders. He reminded the people that the previous governments ruined the future of poor students by grabbing the money of the post matric scholarship scheme. Bhagwant Mann said that on the contrary, our government is making concrete efforts to overcome the difficulties of the common man.
The Chief Minister further said that the state government has fulfilled the guarantee of providing 300 units of free electricity per month from July 1. He said that it is a matter of great pride and satisfaction that during the months of November-December, 2022, the electricity bills of 87 percent of the families in the state have come to zero. Bhagwant Mann said that he belongs to a common family and is well aware of the problems faced by the common man.

The Chief Minister said that the Guru Ravidas Bani Adhyayan Kendra Management Committee, headed by Sant Baba Niranjan Das Ji, will see to the management of the entire affairs of this centre. He further said that apart from the non-government members, the committee includes Secretary Tourism, Secretary SC/BC. Welfare, Finance Secretary and Local Deputy Commissioner will be its members. Bhagwant Mann said that the director will be the member secretary of the tourism and cultural affairs committee.

The Chief Minister said that the committee will decide on further action regarding the development of the center including the purchase of land required for this purpose. He expressed the hope that this center will act as a beacon to promote the ideology of Guru Ravidas ji so that our future generations can take inspiration from his words. Bhagwant Mann said that this center will prove to be important for facilitating students and research scholars studying the life and philosophy of Guru Ravidas to conduct research on various aspects of the holy scriptures of Guru Ravidas.

The Chief Minister reiterated that it is the duty of the state government to maintain peace, harmony and communal harmony in Punjab at all costs. He said that today is the era of education and there is a distinct identity of people with knowledge and expertise all over the world, keeping in mind that the state government is making continuous efforts to promote education in Punjab. Bhagwant Mann said that he wants to see books, laptops, jobs, promotions and medals in the hands of the youth, not weapons.
Meanwhile, Sant Niranjan Das ji honored Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal by giving Siropao.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO, Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Lal Chand Kataruchak, Rajya Sabha Member Raghav Chadha and Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal were present.
