The company had kept the initial prices for this from Rs 16.99 lakh to Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom). These prices were for the first 5,000 customers. The company has not announced its new prices. Mahindra It also plans to launch some new electric vehicles soon. The company competes with Tata Motors in this market. Tata Motors has the largest market share in this segment. This is Mahindra’s first fully electric SUV. It is available in two variants. Booking for this can be done through the company’s website.

The delivery of this electric SUV can start from March. It will compete with Tata Nexon EV, Hyundai Kona EV and MG ZS EV. It is being launched in five colors – Arcing Blue, Everest White, Galaxy Grey, Nepali Black and Infinity Blue. There will also be a dual tone option of Satin Copper. The company claims that the XUV400 has the fastest acceleration capability in the non-luxury segment. Mahindra says that it can reach 0-100 kmph in just 8.3 seconds. Its top speed is 150 kmph. It has three different driving modes, Fun Fast and Fearless.

The electric version of the XUV400 will get a standard warranty of three years. There will be an additional warranty of eight years or 1,60,000 kilometers for the battery and motor. The EC is the lower variant of the Mahindra XUV400. Its 34.5 kWh lithium-ion battery offers a range of 375 km on a single charge. XUV400 The EL is powered by a 39.4 kWh lithium-ion battery that can deliver a range of approximately 456 km on a single charge. It has power of 150 PS and torque of 310 Nm. It comes with a 7.2 kW charger. Along with the central government, many state governments are also providing subsidies to promote electric vehicles.
