Reshuffle in Modi Cabinet: There has been a major reshuffle in the Modi cabinet. Kiran Rijiju has been removed from the post of Law Minister. Arjun Ram Meghwal has been made the Law Minister in his place.
President Draupadi Murmu approved the cabinet reshuffle on the advice of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Now Kiran Rijiju has been assigned to the Ministry of Geosciences from the Law Ministry. Along with this, in place of Rijiju, Arjun Ram Meghwal has been given the independent charge of Minister of State in the Ministry of Law and Justice in addition to his current portfolio.
