We will not form an alliance with AAP in Punjab during the Lok Sabha elections, our leaders are capable of contesting elections on their own. Bajwa said that the Congress leaders are being taken in by the government without fault. How can we become a part of the alliance with AAP in Punjab? The leader of the opposition party said that Sukhpal Khaira was opening the polls of the Punjab government, that is why he has been targeted due to revenge. Earlier, state party president Raja Waring and leader of opposition Pratap Singh Bajwa, who came to meet Khaira in Jalalabad, alleged that they were not allowed to meet.
State Congress President Raja Waring shared photos on his social media account and wrote ‘Sukhpal first reached Jalalabad Sadar police station to meet Khaira ji where the police told us that Khaira Saab was taken to Fazilka. We reached there but even there the police officers refused to meet us. Earlier, a sitting MLA was arrested under the politics of revenge and now no one is being allowed to meet him. This behavior of the police administration is highly condemnable.
On the other hand, the leader of the opposition, Pratap Singh Bajwa, also tweeted, “We went to Fazilka to meet Sukhpal Singh Khaira, but the police prevented us from meeting him.” We will take to the streets against this vindictive policy and will not bow down to Aam Aadmi Party’s pressure tactics’.
