Ropar : Heartbreaking news has come out from Bhalyan village of Sri Chamkaur, where a father killed his own one-year-old daughter. After committing the incident, the father took his daughter to the government hospital in Ropar. The doctor found the girl dead there.
When asked by the doctor, the girl’s father did not give any correct answer about the injuries on the girl’s body. After this the doctor got suspicious. Meanwhile, the girl’s father Sikandar Singh ran away after the incident.
The incident took place on Friday morning around 8 am. Father Sikander Singh son Sucha Singh killed the girl by strangling her and told his wife Seema Rani who was lying on the bed that she was sleeping. When the wife saw after two hours that the child was not breathing, she created a ruckus and gathered everyone together. After which the father himself admitted the girl to the civil hospital and fled the scene.
According to the girl’s aunt Surinder Kaur, who lives in Miyapur, the father used to beat the girl before. Seema Rani had a child earlier. After that two twin girls were born. Seema’s parents had adopted one of the twin girls to another family.
