Jharkhand News: Women have taken up the task of digging and cleaning the filth of the community pond of Parsapani village of Pathargama block under Godda district. The women have taken up the task of cleaning the pond by doing shramdaan, taking their steps forward with a hoe and a basket. On Tuesday, the women associated with Khushi Aajeevika Group inaugurated it.

The people of the village also cooperated by extending their hands in this work of the women of JSLPS women’s group. Hundreds of women and men of the livelihood group got involved in this work and did the work of soil harvesting by doing shramdaan. It was told that the villagers were troubled by the dirt of the pond. Due to drying up of the pond in summer, the women of the livelihood group had decided to solve this problem that this time the pond should be cleaned by doing shramdaan.

Women of the group were promoted

These women of the group were promoted by the JSLPS officials. District Program Manager of JSLPS, Rahul Ranjan told that in a special meeting by Khushi Aajeevika Cluster Sangathan, it was decided to clean and excavate this pond, which was made concrete on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.

Women took steps for the betterment of the society

The members of the organization said that due to the dirt in the pond for many days, the people around the village were not able to use its water. Its main objective is to promote collective work of the community for the betterment of the society and to create a safe and clean environment. Told that now the animals of this area will also get clean water to drink.

Other ponds of the district were also marked

At the same time, the members of the cluster organization told that in this way there are more ponds in the block. Which is also not being used for this reason. By marking the ponds also, it has been decided to clean them by doing shramdaan by the sisters of Sakhi Mandal. It was told that there are total 43 cluster organizations in nine blocks of the district. Cleanliness is being done by organizing such events on a large scale. Hundreds of women of Sakhi Mandal, Block Program Manager Chandan Acharya, Suraiya, Deshbandhu, BPO Chandan Kumar, Pawan Kumar, Pratyusha, Rekha, Shamim Akhtar, Tarachand etc were included in the Shramdan program.
