In such a situation, angry with this death, other soldiers have come on the movement. The jawans assaulted Sergeant Kamlesh Dubey. Palamu’s Superintendent of Police cum JAP’s commander Chandan Kumar Sinha reached Lesliganj camp after getting the information. Where the indignant jawans created a ruckus against the DSP, Sergeant and Lineman in front of the SP co-JAP Commander. At the same time, the DSP rejected all the allegations and termed them as baseless.
Demand to sack DSP, Sergeant and Lineman
Earlier, the jawans were demanding the dismissal of DSP, sergeant and lineman. In the midst of this commotion, the soldiers also had a fight with Sergeant Kamlesh Dubey. It is being told that at around five o’clock on Wednesday morning, all the jawans had gone to the ground for PT training. At about six o’clock, information was received that Anish had committed suicide by hanging himself. The jawans reached and pulled Anish out of the trap and admitted him to the Community Health Center.
Doctors refer MMCH
Seeing the serious condition, the doctors referred him to MMCH. MMCH’s doctor Dr. RK Ranjan told that Jawan Anish Verma was treated. He died after half an hour. Now in such a situation, the jawans allege that DSP Deepak Kumar, Sergeant Kamlesh Dubey and Lineman Amit Toppo of Zap Eight are harassing the jawans. Due to which Anish is forced to commit suicide.
Accused of unnecessarily assaulting the jawans
They allege that the soldiers are also unnecessarily beaten up. The jawan is very angry after this incident. On receiving information about the incident, Harish Kumar and Vijay Kumar, the younger brothers of deceased jawan Anish, reached Medininagar Medical College Hospital. Harish alleges that DSP Deepak Kumar, Sergeant Major Kamlesh Dubey, Line Man Amit Toppo used to always beat and torture his brother. Due to which he was always under tension. For this reason he committed suicide.
The deceased jawan was in charge of the mess
The deceased jawan Anish was in charge of the mess. Harish alleges that 10,000 paise was also asked from his brother in the name of mess expenses. Which I had sent from mobile to my brother Anish. Anish got married only a year and a half ago. Anish Verma was reinstated in IRB in 2013. He was selected in Jharkhand Jaguar Police. Since January 23, Anish Verma was receiving training at Lesliganj Zap Eight.
Anish has a two month old baby
Please tell that Anish also has a two-month-old child. Now, in this case, a three-member team of doctors has been formed for the post-mortem. Postmortem will be done with videography under the supervision of the magistrate. Palamu SP cum Jap Commander Chandan Kumar Sinha told that if the post mortem report of the deceased jawan confirms the murder, strict action will be taken against the concerned people. The SP told that Sergeant Kamlesh Dubey has been suspended with immediate effect.
DSP told the allegations ‘baseless’
On the other hand, DSP Deepak Kumar of IRB-3 says that he is being unnecessarily implicated in this incident. There has always been a friendly relationship with Anish. Used to play volleyball together. He is on leave for the last two days. In such a situation, the allegation of harassment is wrong. On the other hand, Sergeant Major Kamlesh Dubey told that he was in charge of mens, so where did the question of me harassing him come from. He said that after this incident there was a thrashing by some jawans. If I had not been saved, I would have lost my life today.
