Jeev Milkha Singh becomes world’s first golfer to get Dubai’s ‘Golden Visa’


Another achievement has been associated with the name of India’s star golfer Jeev Milkha Singh. He has become the first professional golfer in the world to obtain a Dubai Golden Visa.

Jeev Milkha Singh has been granted a 10-year Golden Visa to Dubai for his outstanding achievements in sports. In fact, Jeev has a long association with Dubai. He has participated in and won many tournaments here. He has many friends in this city.

“I am very honored that the Dubai government has considered my name for the Golden Visa,” Jeev said. Jiv Singh, who has won four titles during his European tour, four on the Japan Golf Tour and six on the Asian Tour, has been given a Golden Card for 10 years.

“It’s a great honor,” Jeev said. I think I first came to Dubai in 1993 and I enjoyed every moment I spent here. It is to be mentioned that even before Jeev Milkha, many players have been given this visa. The players include Ronaldo, Paul Pogba, Roberto Carlos, Luis Figo and Romelu Lokaku, Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and her husband, Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik.
