At the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, India won a bronze medal by defeating Germany on Thursday, ending a 41-year drought.

India’s men’s hockey team won the bronze medal by defeating Germany 5-4. There is an atmosphere of happiness in the whole country with this victory. Various personalities of the country including President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla have congratulated the Indian men’s hockey team on their victory. The Prime Minister said that the whole country is proud of its hockey team.

In a tweet from Rashtrapati Bhavan, President Ram Nath Kovind said, “Congratulations to our men’s hockey team for winning the Olympic medal in hockey after 41 years. The team showed unique skills, flexibility and determination to win. This historic victory will usher in a new era of hockey and inspire the youth to move forward in the game. ”

After India’s victory in men’s hockey, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Historic! This is a day that will be fresh in the memory of every Indian.
