Jalandhar police has got great success. According to information, Jalandhar Commissionerate Police has arrested 3 associates of Lakhbir Landa. The police have recovered around 17 weapons and 33 magazines from the accused. In this regard, the city police has registered a case under various sections including the Arms Act. All the accused used to bring weapons from Madhya Pradesh and sell them here at high prices.
Police Commissioner Swapan Sharma will hold a press conference in this regard today. This operation has been done by the team of Jalandhar Police Special Cell. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has put a reward of Rs 15 lakh on Punjab's most wanted Lakhbir Singh Sandhu alias Landa on Wednesday. Lakhbir Singh is accused of spreading terror in Punjab. He fled abroad in 2017. Since then the NIA is looking for him.
