After attacks by the Palestinian organization Hamas on Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared war. After an emergency meeting with the cabinet, he said – Citizens of Israel, this is a war and we will definitely win it. Enemies will have to pay the price.

This is Netanyahu’s first statement about 5 hours after the start of attacks by Hamas. He said – there is news that many people have been killed in the attack. About 300 people are injured. Hamas terrorists have entered our country. Rockets are being fired continuously in the western towns of Israel.

Hamas fired rockets at 7 cities, including Tel Aviv, Sderot, Ashkelon, the capital of Israel, at around 8 am on Saturday morning. According to Al Jazeera report, these rockets fell on residential buildings. So far 6 people have died. However, Hamas has also claimed that 30 Israelis have been killed in the attack.

Hamas has also claimed that they attacked Israel with 5 thousand rockets. At the same time, the Israeli army says that 2,200 rockets have been fired from the Gaza Strip.

Hamas has dubbed the ongoing operation the ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’. Here, the Israeli army has started ‘Operation Iron Sword’ against Hamas.

The military commander of Hamas, Muhammad Daef, said – this attack is revenge for Israel’s desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. The army is attacking Hamas positions. In fact, Israeli police threw grenades at Al-Aqsa Mosque in April 2023.
