Death of a Punjabi youth who went to America 6 months ago

The trend of death of Punjabi youth abroad is not stopping. Every year, a large number of young people from Punjab go abroad in the hope of a better future. One such case has come to light from Jalandhar.

According to the information received, a young man from Jalandhar died of a heart attack in America. The deceased has been identified as Damanjot Singh, resident of village Padhyana. Damanjot had gone to America just 6 months ago and there is also news that his family had taken a loan of 40 lakhs and sent him abroad. The family hoped that Damanjot would go abroad and earn money and pay off the debt, but God had something else in mind.

On September 20, Damanjot’s family received a call that he had died of a heart attack. The deceased was the only son of Damanjot parents. Due to the untimely death of the son, there is an atmosphere of mourning in the entire village and the family and a mountain of grief has fallen on the family members.
