Chief Electoral Officer of Punjab Sibin C. has urged all the Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) of the state to conduct the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections-2024 transparently and without any pressure.

On the instructions of the Election Commission of India, a certification program is being conducted for Assistant Returning Officers of Punjab and Chandigarh from February 12 to 16 at Chandigarh and Amritsar. In this, the Assistant Returning Officers of all 117 Vidhan Sabha constituencies of Punjab are being given training on various subjects regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections-2024. Additional CEO Abhijit Kaplish was also present on this occasion.

Sibin c. He said that AROs are being trained by national level master trainers. Training has been arranged for 59 AROs of Punjab and 10 AROs of UT Chandigarh in Chandigarh while 58 Assistant Returning Officers of Punjab have been trained at Amritsar.
