Due to bad weather, IndiGo to Srinagar Jammu flight 6e-2124 had to enter Pakistani airspace twice, after which the flight made an emergency landing in Amritsar. On Sunday at 3.36 pm, the IndiGo flight from Srinagar took off for Jammu, 28 minutes later, the flight entered Pakistan via Koto Jameel in J&K due to bad weather. For about 15 minutes, it went towards Jammu through Pakistan and Sialkot. There was also bad weather in Jammu, so the landing could not be done there, and then the flight was sent to Amritsar. At 4:15 PM, the flight entered the Pakistan border again, the flight entered the Karial Kalan of Jammu and Kashmir and returned to the Indian border at Ajnala Kakkar village of Amritsar at about 4:25 PM.

Officials associated with the airline said that the Indigo flight had informed the respective authorities of both countries before entering Pakistan airspace. The diversion of the flight took place under the supervision of Jammu and Lahore ATC. There, the Indigo flight circled Amritsar airport 9 times before landing. After this the flight was allowed to land and then it was cancelled.
