On the other hand, the family demanded that a case be registered under Section 295 of the Indian Penal Code against SHO Navdeep Singh for desecrating his turban.
Her relatives say that SHO Navdeep Singh of Sadar Police Station of Jalandhar Division No. 1 had a case of Parminder Kaur’s family dispute. Manvdeep Singh, a resident of Mohalla Agwad Kamboa, District Dharamkot, District Moga Hal, resident of Jalandhar, said in a complaint to the police that his friend’s sister Parminder Kaur is having a quarrel with her husband Gurmeet Singh and his family. On August 16, there was an argument between the two sides at Thana Sadar.
Meanwhile, the boys abused daughters Parminder Kaur and Manavjit. The policemen also threw them out of the police station. After some time a man took Manavjit to SHO Navdeep Singh. After this, the police registered a case of assault against Manavjit Singh Dhillon at around 8 pm and took him into custody. Manavjit got bail the next day evening. The next day Manavjit’s younger brother Jashandeep left the house early in the morning without informing.

Jashandeep reached Goindwal Sahib to celebrate him but he jumped and after that Manavjeet also jumped.
