In Ludhiana, a married man jumped into the canal along with two girls. The people present in the vicinity raised a noise after seeing the woman jumping into the canal. With the help of divers, the woman and her 2-month-old baby were taken out. While the other 6-year-old girl could not be found anywhere. It is being said that the girl is suspected to have fallen into the canal.
The woman and her daughter were brought to the civil hospital in a state of unconsciousness. The woman did not give any information about the incident to the hospital doctor till late evening. After talking to the police officers, the woman told that her name is Kuldeep Kaur. She lives in Sahnewal area.
She was heard talking about something with her husband on Friday. After which he took his daughters and jumped into the canal. The condition of the girl admitted to the hospital remains critical.
Samrala SHO Bhinder Singh said that the missing girl is being searched for. The preliminary investigation has revealed that the woman has taken this step after hearing what she said to her husband. At present, the police are investigating the matter.
