Bureau Report: People are upset with the flood in Patiala, then a minor girl was first raped and then murdered in Patra area of the city. The family members of the deceased girl had jammed Delhi Sangrur-NH for justice. After which the Patra DSP who reached the spot opened the jam after explaining to the family members. The police have registered a case of rape and murder against unknown persons.
It is to be noted that a 14-year-old girl went missing in Patra area on Tuesday. At around 8 pm, the family informed the police that their daughter has been missing for some time. DSP Gurdeep Singh and Police Chief Hamanpreet Singh Cheema, who reached the spot after the notification, inspected the incident site. The police are checking the CCTV around. In which the girl is seen going with a young man. After which the police started searching for the girl, the dead body of the girl was recovered in a deserted place behind the building of the government elementary school. The condition of the girl’s face was very bad.
Assuring the speedy arrest of the accused
The police have handed over the dead body to the family after conducting the post-mortem. After the girl’s murder, the atmosphere has heated up in the entire area. The family is demanding justice. The police have assured that they will catch the killers soon.
