In Fatehgarh Sahib, robbers absconded after taking 40 lakhs from the petrol pump employee

In the village of Saidpura of Fatehgarh Sahib, on Monday, some robbers have committed a robbery at gunpoint in broad daylight. The robbers looted Rs 40 lakh from the petrol pump workers and fled from the spot while firing. As soon as the incident came to light, SSP Dr. Ravjot Grewal reached the spot and started a thorough investigation of the incident.

Petrol pump employee Harmeet Singh said that the incident took place at 10.40 am. They were going to deposit the Friday, Saturday and Sunday cash of 40 lakh 80 thousand 146 rupees in the local branch of State Bank of India located in Old Sirhind. He was going under the railway bridge with cash in his car.

Harmeet Singh said that the robbers stopped him by driving his car in front of his car. All the robbers were wearing hats and had their faces covered. When the security guard of the petrol pump pointed at the robbers, they took away his gun. Meanwhile, the robbers looted the cash by shooting indiscriminately and escaped from the spot.

Giving information about this matter, SSP Ravjot Grewal said that some miscreants came in an I-20 car from the Bharat Petroleum Pump near Bhattamajra and escaped after showing a pistol and snatching more than 40 lakhs in cash. Different police teams are involved in the investigation.
