first Air Force Heritage Center in Chandigarh: Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the first Indian Air Force Heritage Center at Chandigarh. In the morning, they reached the first Air Force Heritage Center set up at Government Press Bhavan, Sector-18. Governor Banwarilal Purohit and Member of Parliament Kiran Kher are also present with them.

Meanwhile, the Defense Minister inspected the MiG-21 installed here. They sat in the cockpit and even posed for a group photo outside the MiG-21. Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhary is also present. It should be said that a white tent has been erected outside the heritage centre. Due to traffic diversion, there was a traffic jam in Sector 9 on Madhya Marg.

Booking through mobile app

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will visit the entire center after inaugurating the Air Force Heritage Centre. But common people will be able to enter here from Tuesday itself. However, bookings will start from Monday through the mobile app to come here. Along with the Defense Minister, several VVIPs of the Air Force will also be present.

Rules of the Air Force Heritage Center

1. In a day 75 people will be able to experience flying a fighter jet on the simulator, the fee is Rs.295.
2. People will be able to come here from 10 am to 6 pm.
3. A total of three slots to visit the Air Force Heritage Center, each slot will accommodate 25 people.
4. Timing of all the three slots will be 10 AM, 12 PM and 3 PM.
5. There is a fee of Rs.50 for people above 18 years of age who only visit the center without experiencing the simulator.
6. Admission is free for people below 18 years of age.
7. Bookings for visiting the center and simulators can be done through the Tourism Department’s mobile app.
