The passenger was detained at the Delhi airport following a complaint by a crew member, after which he apologized in writing to the officer.

According to media reports, this incident is on July 9. The airline recently reported the matter to the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), after which the matter came to light.

A fight broke out over his refusal to speak out loud
Air India said that Air India’s head of in-flight services Sandeep Verma was also traveling in the flight. His ticket was of business class but due to non-availability of seats there, he was given a seat in 30-C of economy class.

There were other passengers sitting in 30-C so he sat in row number 25. There was a passenger talking loudly. The officer told the passenger to slow down, but the passenger slapped him, tried to twist his neck and abused him.

When even five members of the cabin crew could not stop the passenger, the officer was put on the second seat. Even after this, he kept playing with the passengers’ emergency equipment and moving around in the plane.

The passenger was released after a written apology
Subsequently, the cabin supervisor was called and the passenger was warned verbally and in writing. According to sources, despite the attack, no measures were taken to control the passenger.

After the flight landed in Delhi, the passenger was handed over to airport security officials. Here the passenger apologized in writing to the officer, after which he was allowed to go. However, Air India said that legal action will be taken against the passenger.

In January, the passenger abused the Spicejet flight
In January, a passenger, Absar Alam, molested an air hostess in a Spice Jet flight. A video of this incident has also come out. In which the accused was seen shouting at the air hostess.

After this incident, Absar and his fellow passenger were removed from the flight. Absar was a resident of Delhi’s Jamia Nagar. He was going to Hyderabad with his family. After the complaint, he was arrested.

The urinating incident took place in the Air India flight itself.
On November 26, passenger Shankar Mishra urinated on an elderly woman in Air India’s New York-Delhi flight. The airline did not take any action on this incident. The airline has lodged an FIR with the Delhi Police. The action was taken when the victim, an elderly woman, complained to the chairman of the Tata Group.

In this case, DGCA has imposed a fine of 30 lakhs on the airline. DGCA has suspended the pilot’s license for 3 months. Accused Shankar Mishra was also banned from air travel for 4 months.
