On the occasion of the 75th Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, Pratishtha has been honored with the India-UK Achiever Award by the British Government at Parliament Hall, London, two days ago. Pratishtha is serving in the United Nations after her Master’s degree in Public Policy from Oxford University.
The aim was to become an IAS officer, but she became a victim of an accident at the age of 13… Pratishtha, who was dreaming of becoming an IAS since childhood, tried to break her hopes by a road accident but did not let her spirits break. . In 2011, when Pratishtha was 13 years old, she was injured in a car accident while going to Chandigarh. The lower part of his chest was paralyzed in the accident. He has been in a wheelchair ever since. DSP father Manish Kumar and teacher mother Jagruti Sharma told on phone from England that the daughter has given her a moment of pride.

The woman reached London in July 2020, braving all odds to pursue a Master’s degree in Public Policy at Oxford University, a BA in Political Science from Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi University.
