Hoshiarpur : A person got trapped in the honey trap so much that there was no way left in front of him, then the step he took left the family nowhere. In Tanda’s Hajipur village Budhabar, a businessman got caught in a honey trap and took his own life. Vikas Dutta aka Lada was caught in the trap of blaming for a long time. Vikas has also left a letter before holding his breath in which the whole story is mentioned. After this, the police arrested 4 people including 3 women who blackmailed.
The police reached the blackmailers with mobile phones
The network of the nabbed women was in Hoshiarpur district as well as the neighboring districts of Gurdaspur and Pathankot. This gang of women and young girls used to trap youths and businessmen of different towns in the trap of honey trap by laying a net of Hussan, especially the businessmen along with common people were their targets.
DSP Kulwinder Singh Virak and Hajipur police station in-charge Amarjit Kaur said that on May 7, when Vikas Dutta took his own life, he had searched his mobile phone later. He had sent some messages demanding money, when he was traced and interrogated, the blackmailer confessed his crime.
Called the house and pressured for money
Vikas Dutta took his own life on May 7 and went to the house of Manaro alias Krishna along with his wife Salma in Puara village of Mukeria on May 5. In the house Salma, Sonia, Manaro aka Krishna, Charanjit Kaur pressured Vikas Dutta for money and threatened him, on May 7 he committed suicide.
Police station in-charge Hajipur Amarjeet Kaur said that Vikas Dutta has been arrested under section 306 of IPC for forcing women to take their lives. The woman will be presented in the court and remanded, it will be asked how many people have been trapped in the honey trap so far.
