Cholesterol is produced naturally by our liver and it travels through the body through cholesterol proteins. There are two main types of cholesterol. LDL (low-density lipoprotein) and HDL (high-density lipoprotein) cholesterol. HDL is known as good cholesterol while LDL is known as bad cholesterol.

The presence of a proper amount of good cholesterol in the body is essential. But the increasing level of bad cholesterol in the blood can be very dangerous for the body. Because bad cholesterol starts accumulating in the blood vessels. Because of this, the risk of heart-related diseases increases.

1. It is necessary to take proper fat

Saturated fat, unsaturated fat, trans fat is very important to consume the right fat among these fats. Saturated fat is present in meat and dairy products. These fats stimulate the liver to produce cholesterol in excess. Unsaturated fat is obtained from plant, vegetable oils, seeds and nuts.


It limits the amount of bad cholesterol in the blood. Whereas trans fats are present in processed, fried and packaged foods. This can be very harmful for health. In such a situation, it is necessary to consume the right fat to keep cholesterol under control. Completely avoid pizza, pasta, fried, packaged and other unhealthy foods.

2. Drink coriander water

Put 1 teaspoon coriander seeds in a glass of water and let it boil for 5 minutes. Then leave this water to cool overnight and consume it in the morning on an empty stomach. It will help in controlling the cholesterol level in the blood.

3. Kollu Rasam or Kulthi Rasam

To prepare it, you need horse gram, lemon juice, garlic paste, tomato, cumin and black pepper paste, mustard seeds, olive oil, curry leaves and salt. Put horse gram dal in water and let it boil. Now put the pan on the gas, put oil in it and roast it after adding mustard seeds and curry leaves.

Now put tomatoes on top and cook it for a while. Then add garlic paste and lemon juice to it, as well as add salt and a little water and let it cook well. Mash it well during the cooking process. Now take it off the gas and separate its juice by filtering it with the help of sieve and spoon.
