Ambala : Eight people were killed and around 15 others injured when a truck and a bus collided near Kakkad Majra village in Haryana’s Ambala district on Friday. Police gave this information. The incident took place near Kakkad Majra village on the Panchkula-Yamunanagar National Highway.
The bus was going from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh to Baddi in Himachal Pradesh. Police said that three passengers of the bus were getting down at Kakkar Majra, when the truck hit the vehicle. The injured have been admitted to government hospitals in Ambala City and Narayangarh.

Police said that most of the passengers in the bus were migrant laborers doing construction work. The casualties were pulled out of the bus with the help of passersby. He said that the truck driver has been arrested. (agency)
