Punjab Education Minister: Taking a decision in the interest of the students regarding the teaching of science subjects of class 11 and 12 in schools, Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains immediately ordered the science and mathematics lecturers working in the state headquarters, district, block or other offices. Orders have been given to send back to schools.
Bains also said that in future the lecturers of these subjects should also be called on-duty for some kind of office work.
The Education Minister said that the government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Maan is fully committed to providing quality education to the people of Punjab and now these lecturers will only work to teach students.
Harjot Singh Bains said that in the future, the officers who will call the lecturers of these subjects on duty for office work, then strict disciplinary action will be taken against them.
