Grant release to government schools suffering from floods

Punjab Floods Update: Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains has released a grant of Rs 27.77 crore to the government schools of the state which are suffering from rain and flood water. This amount is from 5 thousand rupees to 30 thousand rupees per school.
Giving information in this regard, he said that 20 crore rupees have been approved for primary schools and 7.77 crore rupees for secondary schools in the state.

With this amount, school heads and management committees will carry out school repairs, cleaning, painting and other miscellaneous works. He said that a special survey of the government schools of the state of Punjab regarding the damage caused by floods and rains is being conducted very soon so that money can be released for suitable repairs to the schools affected by rains and floods as per the need.

He said that we are committed to the re-creation of the colorful Punjab of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s dreams and we are all working together to achieve this mission.
