Mukerian/Hoshiarpur: Cabinet Minister Punjab Bram Shankar Jimpa presented three important water supply projects worth Rs 1 crore 28 lakh at sub division Mukerian. These included water supply projects costing Rs 33.80 lakh at village Kala Manjh, Rs 39.81 lakh at village Sherkowal and Rs 55.09 lakh at village Nowshera Simbli. He said that with these, clean drinking water will be provided to 1356 people of 298 houses at village Kala Manjh. Similarly, 971 people from 154 houses in village Sherkoval and 1590 people from 299 houses in village Nowsheran Simbli will get clean drinking water.
Earlier while talking to reporters at Rest House Mukerian, the Cabinet Minister said that while the Punjab government is fully committed to provide clean drinking water to the residents of the state, farmers should be made to use canal water instead of ground water for agricultural work. is also working seriously for He assured that the construction work of the new building of Mukerian Civil Hospital will also be started soon.
