Gangster Sampat Nehra has been charged in a 7-year-old case

The charge has been fixed against the gangster Sampat Nehra of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in a 7-year-old case. Punjab Police brought Sampat from Bathinda Jail under heavy security to Chandigarh District Court. He appeared before the court in three separate cases.

While reaching the District Court, Sampat’s appearance took place in the Jaibir Singh Court in a case that happened 7 years ago. According to the registered case, the police had registered a case of attempted murder in the case of thrashing of 2 students in Sector-10.

In this case, the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Jabir Singh has framed the charges against the famous gangster Sampat Nehra and now the trial against Nehra will start from July 1. Although Kharar residents Manpreet Singh and Harpreet Singh were also accused in this case, but the court had already acquitted them. Nehra was absconding in this case but he was produced in Chandigarh Court from Bathinda Jail.

On July 28, 2016, some boys attacked students named Jaspreet Singh and Sandeep in the parking lot in front of the museum in Sector-10 with sharp weapons. However, Sandeep refused to testify in the court due to which the two accused were acquitted.

Cases of threatening Sampat Nehra and demanding ransom are also going on in the Chandigarh court. In these cases, he was produced in the court of Jaspreet Singh Minhas and Mayank Marwaha. Advocate Raman Sihag appeared on his behalf who said that a false case was registered against Nehra. After bringing Sampat Nehra to court in three separate cases, the Punjab Police took him to Bathinda.
