Funds released for the construction of Dr. BR Ambedkar Bhavan in Tarn Taran

Dr. BR Ambedkar Bhavan: The Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is continuously working to uplift the standard of living of the people of Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes and other poor sections. Minister of Social Justice, Empowerment and Minority Dr. Baljit Kaur said that an amount of Rs. 3 crore has been released for the construction of Dr. BR Ambedkar Bhavan at Tarn Taran.

Giving information in this regard, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur said that an amount of Rs. 3 crore has been released for the construction of Babasaheb Dr. BR Ambedkar Bhavan in Tarn Taran district of the state. He said that the land has already been arranged for establishing Dr. Ambedkar Bhavan at District Tarn Taran.

The Cabinet Minister said that the government had decided to set up Dr. BR Ambedkar Bhawan in every district so that facilities could be provided under one roof to the people of Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes and other poor sections. The Minister directed the officers of the department to ensure transparency and quality in government works and to strictly follow the financial rules for the construction of Dr. BR Ambedkar Bhawan at District Tarn Taran.
