Funds are being collected for research projects to save children from cancer by cycling.

Calgary (Punjabi Newspaper Bureau) Shared Punjab Grocery Store Calgary has announced to contribute an equal amount to the fund being collected by cycling for the Sick Kids Foundation.

Giving information in this regard, Cyclist Dr. Sandeep Bajaj said that whatever amount of money is collected during this event till August 31, the same amount of money will be given by Punjabi Grocery Store by matching it. So, Dr. Sandeep Bajaj requests the Punjabi community that if you go for grocery shopping at any location of the common Punjab grocery store till August 31, then you must contribute to this donation from your earned income. It is worth mentioning that Dr. Sandeep Bajaj has been Assistant Professor of Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana and Captain of University Cycling Team. Their goal this time is to cycle 1001 kilometers in the month of August and raise 31000 Canadian dollars. By August 27, 2022, he has collected 25800 dollars by cycling 941 km. Dr. Sandeep Bajaj is ranked 4th across Canada in the Great Cycle Challenge list. In the year 2021, he had collected 21000 dollars fund by cycling 1002 km.
