Fugitive Nithyananda’s ‘Kailaasa’ got a blow, UN rejected the proposal as useless, said – will not consider

Geneva. The United Nations Human Rights Office on Thursday made it clear that representatives of the so-called ‘United States of Kailasa’ (USK), founded by Indian fugitive Nithyananda, visited Geneva last week. Any presentation made at his public meetings was frivolous and would not be considered in the final draft. Confirming the participation of “representatives of the so-called country ‘Kailaasa'” in their two public meetings, the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) said they were prevented from distributing promotional material and their slurred speech was ignored.

This was such a meeting, in which the door for registration was open for all. Due to which the people of so-called ‘Kailasa’ got a chance to participate in it. An OHCHR spokesperson said registration for such public events is open to NGOs and the general public. Anyone can present their information on this platform. Based on their credibility, the organization decides further action. When the forum was opened to the public on February 24, a representative of ‘Kailasha’ spoke briefly in the general discussion. His point was superficial, so the committee will not consider it.
