Kolebira police arrested four criminals with weapons and live cartridges. Giving this information, SDPO A Dodrai said that the Kolebira police was on patrol. During this, the police received information that four persons were sitting in a suspicious condition in the forest near Srikondekera Ambatoli. On getting the information, the Kolebira police reached the said place, then all four started running. The police chased all four and caught them.
Those arrested include 23-year-old Vikram Singh, resident of Bujga Tholkobeda of Bano block, 21-year-old Pawan Oraon, resident of Kuchai Toli of Sisai police station, 27-year-old Krishna Sahu, resident of Shri Kondekera of Kolebira police station and Suraj Kumar Kewat of village Palkot police station. When the police searched all four, a 9 mm pistol, eight live cartridges, four mobiles and six hundred rupees were recovered from them.
Police said that criminal cases are also registered against Vikram Singh in Palkot, Bano, Kolebira, Simdega and Kamdara police stations. A criminal case has been registered against Pawan Oraon for Bolba and Krishna Sahu and Suraj Kumar Kewat in Palkot police station. All the criminals were sent to jail by the police. Station in-charge Prabhat Kumar, sub-inspector Ramdev Ravidas, sub-inspector Arvind Kumar, constable Bhim Singh, constable Rajeshwar Bhagat, constable Satya Kashyap and constable Birsa Kharia were included in the raiding team.
