The player said that the nephew pointed out two to him and said that the work will be done.

The player told all this to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann during the match in Dharamshala and sought help. Former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi completely dismissed the allegations of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. He said that many players came to me, I have never sent anyone to my nephew. Chief Minister should stop spreading false propaganda against me. He said that CM Mann wants to send me to jail, that’s why there are such allegations, which have no foundation. On the other hand, Congress MLA Sukhwinder Kotli said that if allegations were to be made, the player should have come forward. He challenged that if Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann stands by his statement then the name of that player should be made public and an investigation should be done.
This is not the first occasion when such allegations have been leveled against former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi. Before this, the name of his nephew came forward in the mining case and he was also arrested.
