Amritsar: Investigation of the Jarnail Singh murder case at village Sathiyala is ongoing by the Punjab Police. Amritsar police has got great success under this investigation. Taking action, Amritsar police have arrested 3 accused including the car driver Gurmej Singh who was transporting 4 shooters. This information has been shared by DGP Gaurav Yadav. After carrying out the incident, Gurmej left the shooters at different places.

Gurmej had given shelter and financial support to all the shooters. A Swift Dzire car and a pistol used in the crime have also been recovered from the accused.

It may be mentioned that Jarnail Singh was murdered by 4 armed men on 24 May. AGTF team led by AIG AGTF Sandeep Goyal under the supervision of ADGP Pramod Ban arrested Gurveer alias Guri, who is a shooter of Bambiha gang.
During the preliminary investigation, it has been found that the accused Gurveer along with Manpreet Singh alias Mun who is currently living in Portugal and Balwinder Singh alias Doni had conspired to kill Jarnail Singh. Guri also met the shooters involved in the murder and provided them with weapons to carry out the murder.
