In fact, due to lack of space in the crematorium of Badal village, it has been decided to perform the last rites of the former chief minister in his own farm. The dead body of Parkash Singh Badal has left Chandigarh for Badal’s native village. On Wednesday morning, the body of the deceased was kept at the Akali Dal headquarters in Chandigarh for last darshan, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived to pay his respects.

After this, his funeral departed from Chandigarh, which will reach the village by late evening or night via Rajpura, Patiala, Sangrur, Bathinda. Villagers will visit him here on Thursday morning. After this, the last rites will be performed on Thursday around 1 pm.
