It is worth mentioning that Amritpal Singh and his supporters who brought the decorated palanquin of Sri Akal Takht Sahib from village Jallupur Khera were attacked in Amritsar’s Ajnala police station on February 23. All major parties of Punjab Congress, Akali Dal and Aam Aadmi Party have condemned this move of Amritpal and asked Shri Akal Takht Sahib to consider it. Not only this, the Congress leaders raised this issue in the ongoing session of the Congress in Chhattisgarh and asked Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Harpreet Singh to consider it.
