Giving information on the matter, America said, “This flying object was almost the size of a small car. We don’t know who owns it. Be it state or corporate related. We are not able to understand the whole purpose.” At the same time, Pentagon spokesman Brigadier General Pat Ryder told that, “The F-22 fighter used an AIM-9X missile to shoot down the object. It was the same fighter jet that was also used to shoot down a Chinese spy balloon.

India is also being spied on

Significantly, before this, media reports in the US said that China has operated a fleet of spy balloons targeting several countries including India and Japan. At the same time, American officials have informed their friends and allies including India about the information related to Chinese balloons.

America also claims that China was not just spying on it, India is also included in the countries that China spied on through such balloons. In fact, now according to the report of American intelligence agencies, between last December 2021 and January 2022, one such spy balloon of China had also spied India’s military base.
