Ferozepur: A man used to fool people with fake notes, police caught him

The police of Ferozepur's Lakhoke Behram police station have arrested a man with fake Indian currency worth Rs 18500. A case has been registered against the accused under various sections of the IPC. Police remand is being obtained for interrogation by producing the accused in the court, so that it can be ascertained from where the accused used to bring this fake Indian currency.

SHO Gurdeep Singh said that he along with the police party was present at Lakhoke Bahram bus stand. Meanwhile, the informant informed that the accused Subeg Singh son of Kartar Singh, a resident of village Masih, deals in fake currency. He fools people by giving them fake currency and currently the accused is coming towards the bus stand on a Splendor motorcycle.

When the blockade was conducted on the said information, 3 notes of 500, 7 notes of 200, 154 notes of 100 rupees and 4 notes of 50 rupees were recovered from the accused. A case has been registered against the accused regarding the said recovery. The accused are being produced in court and remanded in police custody for further questioning.
