The Meteorological Department says that the maximum temperature may increase by three to four degrees for the next two days.

According to the Meteorological Department, an increase of 0.9 degrees was recorded in the maximum temperature of Punjab on Thursday, which was 3.1 degrees above normal. The temperature was recorded at 39.5 in Samrala, 37.6 in Amritsar, 37.1 in Ludhiana, 38.3 in Patiala, 38.6 in Barnala, 38.1 in Hoshiarpur and 39 in Bathinda.
Along with this, the night temperature has also decreased. A drop of 0.1 degrees was recorded in the minimum temperature. Muktsar recorded a minimum temperature of 16.4 degrees Celsius. Along with this, Thursday was the hottest day of this season so far in Haryana. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, if the situation continues, the mercury may exceed 42 degrees by the end of April.
It can run till the end of April
Director of Meteorological Department Manmohan Singh said that the weather will continue to change. The heat is likely to increase only after April 20. The heat wave may continue till the end of April. He said that summer days are from April 16 to May 31. This year there was no heat even in March due to continuous western disturbance. Now even in April the temperature remains normal.
