Kisan Mazdoor Morcha and SKM (Non-Political) took out processions and burnt effigies of WTO, corporate houses and Modi-Khattar across the country. By the time this press note was written, news of these dharnas had reached thousands of villages in 13 states.
Giving information in this regard, the farmers' leaders said that now Kisan Andolan 2.0 has spread not only on the borders of Punjab-Haryana but in the entire country. Effigies of WTO, corporate houses, Modi-Khattar and Ambani-Adani were burnt on Shambhu and Khannoori fronts, during which slogans of thousands of farmers echoed in the sky. Throughout the day, farmers' leaders raised their voices on both fronts regarding WTO conspiracies and anti-farmer-labour policies.
The front has once again strongly demanded that the Punjab government register a case against the killers of martyred farmer Shubkaran Singh as soon as possible and take appropriate action against them. If the Punjab government still does not do this, then the farmers will protest against this promise. For which the government will be responsible.
